The client is an independent sales and lettings agent offering outstanding sales, lettings and property management services in Poole, Bournemouth and the surrounding areas.
The Background
Elite Office Solutions contacted the business to introduce them to Elite Office Solutions’ unique ‘Flexirent’ offering.
This revolves around a flexible, fixed monthly payment that covers the printer & photocopier hardware, print and servicing, all in one.
The compact office housed 6 members of staff, with a variety of small desktop A4 printers, flat bed scanners, photocopiers and a fax located across multiple desks. Each device served a different purpose.

The Challenges
The primary issues for the business revolved around limited space and functionality.
Lack of Space
Because the business had accumulated a mix of different devices, with each doing a different job, desk space was becoming compromised, making working conditions increasingly challenging.
Inefficiency
Because each device had a different purpose, members of staff were having to go to different machines depending on whether they wanted to fax, scan, copy or print. This was using up valuable time.
Limited Functionality
None of the devices had an A3 printing facility, which was required as they were expanding their business. The only other alternative would be to resort to using the local copy shop to get A3 prints done. This would have been expensive and time consuming.
The Solution
Our initial primary focus was to understand what the estate agent's actual needs were. Organisations often have preconceived ideas of what type of device they need, which can turn out not to be what is actually required. Therefore, we undertook our free trademark Office Solutions Audit to assess the estate agent's actual needs.
The findings identified that, by far, the most cost-effective and productive device for the office was a single floor-standing A3 colour multi-functional device. This was installed hassle-free into the office, and all staff members were shown how to make full use of the device’s feature set.

“Since we replaced all of our old equipment for the A3 multifunctional machine from EOS, we do not have to struggle using different machines any more. The functionality of the printer being able to print double sided and collate documents has saved substantial time and increased productivity in the office. The built in scanner is also particularly fast and efficient.
The space we have freed up as a result of getting rid of all the old machines is remarkable and made the office a much more pleasant environment to work in.
